BOISE, Idaho ÔÇô Last Tuesday was just like any regular Tuesday for Cindy Ragains. While taking care of routine errands, she stopped in one of her regular Idaho Lottery retail locations, the Oasis Stop-n-Go, at 2220 Addison Avenue East in Twin Falls, and purchased three Idaho Millions Scratch tickets. She took them out to her car and started scratching. The first one was not a winner. The second ticket won $20. When she matched her winning numbers on the third ticket, she started to scratch off her prize.
"At first I thought I'd only won $25. Then a zero came up and I thought, 'great, I won $250.' But the zeroes weren't done," described Ragains, a Twin Falls County resident. "There was another one, and another one, and another one!"
Shocked, she took the ticket back into the store to have it verified as being a $250,000 winner. "The girls in the store had to hold me up. I thought I was having a heart attack," described an excited Ragains. "I didn't get a lot of sleep that night!"
Ragains plans to use her windfall to pay for everything that needs paying off. For their part in selling the big winning ticket, Oasis Stop-n-Go receives a bonus of $20,000 from the Idaho Lottery.
This is the sixth and final top prize winning ticket on the Scratch GameTM Idaho Millions. Over the 18-month course of this popular game, top prize winners came from all across the Gem State. From northern Idaho, one winner each came from Wallace and Sagle. In the Treasure Valley, one winner each came from Eagle and Boise. There was also a winner from Twin Falls and another from Idaho Falls.
