FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BOISE, Idaho – Timothy Munchalfen of Post Falls was due for some good luck. A long-haul trucker who was seriously injured in an accident that has left him unable to work for several months as he recovers, Munchalfen bought an Idaho Lottery Mammoth Money Scratch ticket at the Super 1 Foods store in Post Falls and won the game’s first top prize of $300,000.
“I always thought I’d win the Lottery someday,” said Munchalfen when he claimed his prize at Lottery Offices in Boise. “I guess that day is today.”
“I’m the kind of person that would give my last dollar to a friend if they needed it. Then to win this when I was in need? I just feel like God has blessed me,” he continued.
Munchalfen said he plans to pay off his house and bills, which will make it easier for him and his family to live until he can get back to work.
For selling the winning ticket, Super 1 Foods receives a $20,000 bonus from the Idaho Lottery.
