Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle is 50% Sold-out

BOISE, Idaho ÔÇô This morning the Idaho Lottery officially crossed the 50% mark of sales for their annual Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle game meaning there are now less than 125,000 tickets remaining for a chance at the game's one million dollar top prize. Although there are only 27 days left for players to purchase their tickets, the Idaho Lottery anticipates selling out the game before the holidays.

"We've passed the half-way point for the Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle for the remaining tickets left in the game," said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. "Each year, this game always sells out. It is the best odds to win a million dollars offered by the Idaho Lottery."

"In addition to fewer available tickets, many people will purchase Raffle tickets to give as stocking stuffers and holiday gifts," added Anderson. "Be sure to sign and print your name on your tickets. If you are giving them as holiday gifts, it's a good idea to print the name of the person you give it to on the back of their ticket. These tickets are bearer instruments. We pay the person who presents them for payment."

As an Idaho-only game, Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle tickets are only available for sale through all 900 Idaho Lottery retail locations. This game is not sold in any other state, however, players do not need to be Idaho residents to play or win. Anderson guarantees there will be one $1,000,000 winning ticket, four $25,000 winning tickets, and 2,500 winning tickets ranging from $50 to $250.

This year's winning numbers announcement will take place at 5:59 p.m. Mountain Time on December 29, 2010. Lottery officials continue to remind players to play the Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle responsibly. Anderson also encouraged players to keep their tickets in a safe place until the Lottery announces the winning numbers on December 29, 2010.
