BOISE, Idaho ÔÇô Cooking after a long day of hard work sometimes is not as appealing as just stopping at the local supermarket to get something fresh for dinner. Earlier this week, Boni Hutchinson made that dinner-time decision and it led to her winning $100,000 on the Idaho Lottery's Black Ticket Scratch GameTM.
Hutchinson, along with a friend, stopped at the Fred Meyer Store in Boise on Federal Way to pick up something from the store's deli. As she entered the store, she passed the Idaho Lottery's big red vending machine and bought herself a $10 Black Ticket Scratch GameTM and played it right then.
"I couldn't believe I'd won $100,000!" she exclaimed. "It definitely changed our dinner plans for the evening!"
Hutchinson, a long time Idahoan and monthly lottery player, has her own business as a massage therapist and plans to use her winnings to pay off some debts and put the finishing touches on her mobile massage bus.
"Finding the bus and converting it to use for massages has been a big project, but this will definitely help finish it off," said a relieved Hutchinson, who also is now planning a great mother's day with her family.
For their part in selling the winning ticket, Fred Meyer will receive a bonus from the Idaho Lottery of $12,000.
