BOISE, Idaho ÔÇô Tuesday is the last day for Idaho Lottery players who would like the best chance of winning $500,000 in Idaho to buy tickets for the $500,000 Spring Raffle. Sales for the Idaho Lottery's $500,000 Spring Raffle will officially end at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, or when the last ticket is sold, whichever occurs first. Less than 9% of the $5 tickets for the $500,000 Spring Raffle remain, but time is running out for players interested in playing the game.

"There are a few Raffle tickets left, so if you're interested in having the best chance ever at winning $500,000 from the Idaho Lottery, today is the day you need to get a ticket to get in the game," said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director.

Sales on the $500,000 Spring Raffle have increased the closer the game has come to reaching its conclusion. In the past two weeks, sales have increased over 82% from the first two weeks in June, selling over 30% of the game in the past fortnight.

During the final hours of sales, players who purchase four of the $500,000 Spring Raffle tickets will continue to receive a free $5 Powerball ticket good for Wednesday night's jackpot.

As excitement for the game increases, Anderson also encouraged players to play responsibly. He also recommended that players sign the back of their ticket once it has been purchased and to keep it in a safe place until the Lottery announces the winning numbers Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time.

In addition to news media reports of the top prize winning number, all 5,000 winning numbers will be available for players to check their tickets after the announcement via the Idaho Lottery's website at idaholottery.com, by calling the winning numbers hotline at 208-334-4656, or at any Idaho Lottery retail location. Only the top prize of $500,000 must be claimed at the Idaho Lottery offices in Boise. The $500, $50 and $25 prizes can be claimed at any Idaho Lottery retail location.
