ÔÇïBOISE, Idaho ÔÇô The Idaho Lottery has confirmed the Powerball ticket worth $200,000 from last Saturday night's draw was sold in Benewah County. Benewah County is in northern Idaho, between Moscow and Coeur d'Alene. The winning numbers for Saturday night's $66.8 million Powerball draw were 12, 13, 14, 35, 41 and the Powerball was 29. The winning ticket matched all five numbers but not the Powerball.

The winner has not claimed their ticket yet. No additional information will be released until the ticket is claimed in Boise.

"Given the geography of the area and a recent snow storm, it may be a few days before a winner comes forward to claim their prize," announced Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. "This is Idaho's Lottery and winners come from everywhere, including beautiful Benewah County which is fairly remote with a small population. The Idaho Lottery can not confirm a winner until that winner comes to Boise to claim their $200,000 winning ticket."

The last large winning Powerball ticket from Benewah County belonged to Donald Slater, Santa, who won $10,000 in April 2006.

"The winner should also sign the back of their ticket immediately to secure their ownership," added Anderson. "Lottery tickets are bearer instruments, meaning when they are presented for payment we pay the individual who has signed the back of the ticket."

The winner has 180 days from Saturday, December 12, 2009 to claim their winnings from Lottery Offices in Boise. Players can check their tickets at any Idaho Lottery retailer or by visiting the Lottery's website.
